Position Details:

    Location: Auckland-based with occasional travel to Tauranga

      Hours: minimum 30 per week

      Hourly Rate: NZD $50.34

Are you ready to lead the charge in sustainable urban transport? Flamingo, New Zealand’s leading micromobility company, is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee and optimise the operations of our regional fleet of electric scooters and bikes.

You’ll play a key leadership role in streamlining logistics, maintenance, and deployment processes — primarily based in Auckland, with occasional paid work travel to Tauranga.

Key Responsibilities

      Lead Operations: Supervise daily scooter and bike operations — from logistics to fleet deployment and maintenance.

      Manage Teams: Train, roster, and inspire a team of technicians and operations staff.

      Optimise Processes: Redesign workflows, enhance systems, and improve user experiences.

      Drive Sustainability: Ensure every decision supports our environmental values.

      Maintain Safety & Compliance: Keep staff, vehicles, and operations aligned with H&S regulations.

      Track Budgets & Metrics: Manage costs, report performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.


      Deliver Customer Excellence: Handle complaints, orders, and enquiries like a true pro.

Qualifications & Experience:

      A Degree is business/management/logistics (desirable) OR

      3 years relevant work experience

      Relevant Experience: Previous experience would include in operations, process management, fleet operations, logistics, or warehouse management.

      Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and customer service skills

      Comfortable using digital tools and reporting systems

      Full, clean Class 1 driver’s licence (Forklift licence preferred)

      Ability to pass drug tests and maintain a clean criminal record


      Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings and late nights (4am–3:30am Rotating Shifts)

Location Note

This role is principally based in Auckland, with occasional work-related travel to Tauranga (travel time is paid).
