LJ BUILD&RENO LIMITED, located in Auckland,is  looking for a couple of Floor Finishers to join our team.

For the role, your responsibilities include:

•    Estimate the number of materials needed based on reference to drawings and actual measurements
•    Remove old floor coverings, such as paint, and wood planks and repair holes and cracks in the floor to clean and smooth the surface in preparation for the new flooring
•    Measure and cut the liner material and fix it in place
•    Lay the backing and covering materials on the floor according to the specifications and patterns required, cut the excess edges, and trim the edges
•    Select and mix the paint colors needed for painting
•    Spraying the surface of the floor with airbrush tools such as brushes, rollers, etc.
•    Installation of coverings on walls, floors, counters and ceilings

You are required to:

  • At least two years of relevant experience or a relevant NZQF level 4 qualification.
  • Physically fit with a clear criminal record
