As our factory continues to expand, we are looking for 3 permanent full-time (at least 30 hours guaranteed, from Monday to Sunday on rostered shift) Forklift Operators to join our rapidly growing production team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a thriving industry with great career development prospects.

 

The duties include:

·      Loading, unloading and shipping packaged items.

·      Transporting items and goods to different locations within the factory and warehouse.

·   Accurately identifying the correct placement and securing loads to the machine before transportation.

·      Ensuring goods are stored correctly and safely compliance with H&S policy.

·      Examining and managing equipment to detect signs of damage.

·      Performing routine maintenance before each operation and identifying work hazard.

·      Adhering to safety management standards and production schedules.

 

To be successful you will need to:

  • Have at least three years of relevant work experience in the same field, OR
  • Have a relevant NZ Level 4 qualification in forklift operations or equivalent qualifications/certificates
  • Experience in warehouse management is preferred
  • Previous experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), warehouse operations, or manufacturing is an advantage.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual lifting
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain high safety standards.
