We are currently seeking a skilled carpenter to jour our team for a variety of tasks across active construction sites.

We prefer the candidates who have:

l  At least two years of proven relevant working experience

l  Or you have qualification of NZ Certificate in Carpentry (Level 4) or equivalent

l  Practical experience using carpentry materials, tools, equipment

l  Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and construction methods

l  Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction documents

l  Commitment to following health and safety guidelines at all times

l  Good physical condition suitable for construction work

l  A team-oriented attitude and the ability to contribute to high-performing team

Description of the role 

 Interpret blueprints, sketches and building plans to determine project layouts, materials and installation procedures 

 Cut and shape materials to specific measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws

 Measure and mark cutting lines on materials 

 Assemble and secure materials to build framework or supports 

 Construct framework and roofing structures, sub-flooring, and floorboards and ensure accuracy

 Select and order timber and materials

 Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim

 Build and repair wooden fixtures such as doors, frameworks and floors

 Maintain records and provide written progress reports as required 

 Comply with established safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe work environment  What we can offer you: 

 Competitive pay range: $29-$35 per hour based on skills and experience

 Flexible working location: Auckland Region Projects 

 Guaranteed minimum working hours: 30 hours per week
