Concrete Structure Foreman

The Company
Our client is a company of concreters, run by concreters. They combined industry experience and knowledge has allowed them to grow and expand to developing major works. They pride themselves on their client relationships and quality of work. 

The Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Foreman to oversee and manage job sites effectively. This role requires someone who is confident in managing on-site operations from start to finish and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards.
Roles and responsibilities will also include:

• Setting out and managing excavations and formwork according to construction plans.
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings with accuracy.
• Liaising with the office team, builders, and project managers to ensure clear communication and smooth workflow.
• Directing and coordinating on-site workers including formworkers, steel fixers, concreters, and excavation contractors.
• Supervising and managing construction of complex structures including basements and high-rise suspended slabs (up to 6 levels).
• Ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and within project timelines.

The Candidate
To be successful in the role you will be required to be:

• Proven experience as a Foreman in concrete construction.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret construction plans.
• Strong knowledge of setting out for excavation and formwork.
• Experience managing projects involving basements and high-rise suspended slabs.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate and manage multiple subcontractors and trades on-site.
• Reliable, proactive, and highly organized.
• Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and site management.
