Shop Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle the receipt, storage, and organization of a wide variety of Asian food products, including fresh, frozen, and dry goods.
• Assist in inventory control, ensuring accurate tracking of products to prevent overstock and out-of-stock situations.
• Prepare and pack customer orders with care, ensuring that delicate items like tofu and fresh vegetables are handled properly.
• Maintain a clean and safe shop environment, understanding the importance of hygiene especially when dealing with food products.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• At least 6 months of retail experience required.
• Has a genuine interest in and knowledge of Asian cuisine, which will be invaluable in managing our diverse product range effectively.
• Has a great attitude and is ready to be part of a team dedicated to providing excellent service.
• Can lift and move products up to 20kg in weight.
• Is keen to learn and operate different kinds of shop machinery (training will be provided).
• Has basic computer skills for managing inventory systems(GPOS ERP System).
