We are a well-established and growing professional construction company based in Auckland with major business focus on building high-quality and modern residential and commercial properties, and also interior fitout.

We are looking for a Project Manager in Auckland region to focus on residential and commercial projects. You must have corresponding qualifications and/or diplomas/certificates and ideally previous relevant work experience.

Your Duties include

     Planning, organising directing, controlling and coordinating the construction of civil engineering projects, buildings and dwellings, and the physical and human resources involved in building and construction. 

·       Interpreting architectural drawings and specifications 

·       Coordinating labour resources, and procurement and delivery of materials, plant, and Equipment

·       Consulting with Architects, Engineering Professionals and other professionals, and Technical and Trades Workers

·       Negotiating and consulting with building owners, property developers, and subcontractors involved in the construction process to ensure projects are progressed and completed on time and within budget in the standards stipulated in the contract.

·       Operating and implementing coordinated work programs for sites

·       Ensuring adherence to building legislation and standards of performance, quality, cost, and Safety

·       Arranging submission of plans to local authorities

·       Managing project change and variation, controlling and coordinating negotiation process of variation, and implementation of projects and programs

·       Building under contract, or subcontracting specialized building services

·       Overseeing the standard and progress of subcontractors' work

·       Establishing and managing project plans and Arranging building inspections by local authorities
