VINTAGE WINES & LIQUOR is a fine wine retail store. We are looking for Store Manager to join our team. As a Store Manager you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have an exceptional shopping experience. You will be working independently and have the day to day running of the store. Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure safety and security procedures are enforced.
  • Determining product mix, stock levels and service standards.
  • Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, and setting prices.
  • Promoting and advertising the establishment's goods and services.
  • Selling goods and services to customers and advising them on product use.
  • Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions.
  • Undertaking budgeting for the establishment.
  • Controlling selection, training and supervision of staff.

 

We are looking for candidates with the preferred attributes: 

  • Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, and public holidays as per the store timings from Monday to Sunday.
  • 3 years relevant experience / or Diploma or higher.
  • Have a valid Managers Certificate or be willing to obtain one.
  • Excellent communication skills and Handling customer professionally.
  • Great presentation and Personal Hygiene, and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

To be considered for this role you must be in NZ, and either be an NZ resident, citizen or have legal rights to work in NZ full time.
