Painter

Permanent full time role 

The ideal candidates will have a passion for delivery exceptional painting and decorating services, a can do attitude and the ability to think outside the box. 

Responsibilities include but not limited to: 

• Preparation of surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, filling and priming (including lead-based paint removal) 
• Applying paint and other finishes to a variety of surfaces to exterior substrates 
• Be confident cutting in and using a roller 
• Calculating the amount of materials required for each project 
• Repairing damaged surfaces 
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment 
• Masking surfaes in preparation for airless spraying 
• Maintain and uphold strict health and safety policies and procedures 

Requirements 

• Minimum 5 yeas proven experience as a painter decorator 
• Excellent knowledge of painting and decorating products and techniques 
• Ability to operate an airless spray machine efficiently would be an advantage 
• Ablity to work independently and as part of a team 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills 
• Attention to detail and high quality standards 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines while not compromising quality 
• Have reliable transportation 
• You may be required to travel to other regions from time to time 

You must be able to pass pre-employmnet checks
