Progressive Meats are looking for staff who are a cut above the rest! We are a leading edge processor of Lamb and Beef in the sunny Hawke's Bay. 

We have multiple opportunities for full time, permanent employment as Food Industrial Cleaners in 2025 and beyond.  No previous experience required, just bring your positive, proactive attitude and you will go far. We are keen to provide you with the skills and experience to go be successful in this role.

The Cleaning team start the10-hour Shift at 10:00 pm each weekday.

Weekend availability required over Spring/Summer and Autumn.

The minimum amount of hours per week is 30.

About the role/s available:

  • Cleaning down food production rooms, equipment and machinery
  • Chemical handling required
  • Hand over to pre-operation Production

These roles require:

  • A genuine Interest in a career in the Primary Industry specializing in Meat Processing
  • High level of physical and mental fitness
  • Great attitude and work ethic
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliable means of transport
  • Be able to pass a Drug Screen and Pre-employment Medical
  • An ACC Pre-employment Check report
  • A Ministry of Justice Check

The pay scale is: $23.50 - $29.66 per hour
