We are hiring for RELIANCE CONSTRUCTION LIMITED, a professional construction company based in Auckland. We specialise in residential and commercial building projects and undertake a wide range of construction work across the Auckland region. We are currently seeking skilled Carpenters to join our growing team.

Job Location: Auckland
Number of people need: 3
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Days Required: Needs to be available from Monday to Saturday, between 8:00am to 5:30 pm
May need to work during weekends or public holidays;
Hourly Rate: $27.76 - $35
Hours per Week: Guaranteed minimum 30 hours per week. Up to 50 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications to determine construction requirements and installation procedures
• Measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining timber and other materials
• Constructing, installing, renovating, and repairing structures and fixtures including frameworks, floors, walls, roofs, doors, and windows
• Nailing panels, boards, and blocks into position using hand tools and power tools
• Installing formwork and reinforcing frameworks for concrete pouring
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard of workmanship, safety, and quality
• Collaborating with other construction team members and contractors to meet project deadlines
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times
• Complying with all building codes, health and safety regulations, and company standards
Requirements for the applicants:
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in carpentry OR completion of a recognised carpentry qualification/apprenticeship
• Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment such as saws, nail guns, drills, and levels
• Good understanding of New Zealand building codes and construction standards
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual work, including lifting and working at heights
• A valid driver’s licence and reliable transport are preferred
• Ability to attend an onsite interview is advantageous
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
