Auklet Traders Limited (Malayalikada), based in Auckland, imports and distributes Indian groceries throughout New Zealand. With current distribution we have grown nationwide since 2015, recently as a part of business expansion we started direct supplier and retail outlets which attracts direct end consumers.
Our product range includes ambient grocery products and frozen products. We have multiple warehouses and storage units and retail outlets. We are seeking a talented professional for the position of Retail Supervisor. This is a permanent full-time employment with a minimum of 32 hrs/week.
Responsibilities include:
- Handling customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring excellent service, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Setting sales targets, monitoring sales performance, and organizing promotions or events to attract customers.
- Conducting inventory checks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the store is well-stocked.
- Overseeing cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health and safety regulations at the premise
- Visiting our customer Retail outlets and taking the adequate order and delivering stock.
- Ensuring the smooth functioning of the store while maximizing sales and enhancing the customer experience.
- Undertaking regular stocktake to reconcile stock in hand against inventory held in the system.
- Ensure prompt and quality service to customers, addressing inquiries and complaints effectively.
- Oversee the retail outlet staff, including handling cash, workbooks and documents.
Ideal candidates for this role should have:
- IT knowledge of excel, word, facebook pages, checkout software is needed.
- Have a driving license or ready to obtain one
- NZ Register Level 2 or 3 qualification or higher OR relevant one-year work experience
