Position Available: Forklift Driver

Location: Bay of Plenty Region
Payrate: $30 per hour
Minimum Hours of Work Per Week: 30
Maximum Hours of Work Per Week: 40

 

Key Requirements:
At least 3 year or more of relevant experience.
or
At Level 4 or above qualification in related field.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport horticultural products, pallets, and bins.

Move harvested produce and materials within packhouse, cool store, and loading zones.

Ensure safe handling of delicate fruit/produce to avoid damage during transportation.

Perform routine checks and basic maintenance of forklifts to ensure safety and functionality.

Follow health and safety regulations and site-specific protocols at all times.

Assist with general warehouse and logistics tasks as directed by supervisors.

Record inventory movements and maintain accurate documentation where required.

Work efficiently in a fast-paced, seasonal environment with variable workload.
