Our store based in Manurewa. 

About the Role

We are looking for one store manager to manage our busy liquor shop located in Manurewa Auckland. This is for a full-time position over a seven-day rostered shifts. However, it is a guaranteed minimum 40 hours a week, with a typical week being 45 hours plus.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing the operation of the liquor store.

Key task as below:

1. Stock Management inwards/outwards/shop
2. Excellent customer service. 
3. Communicate with suppliers and sales rep.
4. Leading and communicate with staffs.
5. Establish store rules. Identify problem in operations and improve.
6. Handling customers queries and monitoring every staff service standard.
7. Managing Roaster and staffing levels.
8. Analysing selling information and taking responsibility for the store sales performance.
9. Training new starts.
10. Analyse, order and price new products.
11. Analyse local and store markets and promote products accordingly to increase sales.
12. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
13. Manage the day-to-day financial records of the stores.

Required Skills and Prerequisites

Ø  At least NZQACF level 7 of related certificates is desirable. Licence Controller Qualification (LCQ) and Manager Certificate required. 

Ø  More than 2 years manager experience in a similar industry

Ø  Excellent customer service and communication skills (Retail background ideal)

Ø  Physically fit. Lifting stocks or driving a forklift maybe needed from time to time.

Ø  Competent POS/PC skills

Ø  Self-motivated, a “can do attitude” and a team leader.

Ø  Flexibility to work shifts on a 7-day roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays till late close.

Ø  Honest and reliable.

Ø  Ability to coach, influence and uplift team performance.

Ø  Understanding of store operation routines (delivery, stock, inventory, etc.)

Ø  Knowledge of alcohol industry, especially with wines and spirits.
