French Bakery seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to craft high-quality patisserie items. The role involves creating various cakes & pastries and operating pastry equipment. You'll work independently and in a team to produce consistent, beautifully presented pastries. This is a full-time job with guaranteed hours of 30 hours per week. 

The job involves the following tasks and duties:  
•    Ensure equipment and work areas are kept clean and hygienic, meeting all occupational health and safety requirements
•    Inspect and measure ingredients and assess the quality of raw materials before use
•    Mix, knead, shape, and prepare doughs and pastries for baking
•    Prepare and fill pastries where needed
•    Manage oven settings and monitor the baking process to ensure proper timing and quality
•    Oversee the complete baking cycle including shaping, baking, cooling, and finishing baked products
•    Finish products by glazing and decorating with icing or cream as needed
•    Operate baking equipment for dough processing and biscuit cutting
•    Perform other related duties as directed by management
