Manstar Trading Ltd located in Auckland, is looking for a full-time Retail Buyer to join our team. As a Retail Buyer, you will be working a minimum of 30 hours per week. You will be responsible for:

Job Description:

  • Research and analyze market trends, customer preferences, and seasonal demands.

  • Select and purchase products in line with the company’s brand image and budget.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.

  • Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and promotional support with suppliers.

  • Monitor stock levels, sales performance, and markdowns to inform future buying decisions.

  • Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and visual teams to create cohesive product stories.

  • Attend trade shows, fashion weeks, or supplier meetings to discover new products and trends.

  • Prepare and present buying reports, forecasts, and budget proposals to management.

About you

  •        At least 3 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's Degree, or above qualification
  •         Physically fit with a clear criminal record
  •        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
