We are seeking an experienced Carpenter Foreman to lead and supervise our dedicated carpentry teams across various residential and commercial sites within the Auckland region. If you have a solid carpentry background and strong leadership skills, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily work activities of the carpentry team

  • Interpret blueprints and building plans to determine materials and layout

  • Measure, cut, and assemble materials such as timber, fiberglass, and laminates

  • Construct building frameworks including wall studs, joists, and door/window frames

  • Oversee and participate in the installation of roofing, cladding, ceilings, and formwork

  • Maintain safety standards and ensure project deadlines and quality expectations are met

  • Liaise with the Construction Project Manager and subcontractors as required

  • Travel to various job sites within the Auckland Region

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of proven carpentry experience, with at least 2 year in a supervisory/foreman role

  • Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team

  • Physically fit and capable of working at heights and on scaffolds

  • Must be able to pass any required health and criminal checks

  • Legally entitled to work in New Zealand and available for an immediate start

Pay Rate: $38 – $50 per hour (based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent (minimum 30 hours/week)
