Work Location: Papakura and Otahuhu, Auckland region (Requires local travel)

Employment type: Full time (guaranteed 30 hours minimum & 50 hours Maximum / per week)

Our pay: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour (Based on your ability & capability)

To enhance our team, we are now looking for 1 Retail Manager to join our team. We are expecting someone who has a passion for attention to details, ability to multi-task and be a proactive member of the team.

You may be required to travel locally Otahuhu and Papakura, Auckland, as we have two shops located there, which may necessitate travel between the two shops to oversee company operations. The position's shift will cover our shop operating days from Monday to Sunday, between timing of  8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

You will need to have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in the same field or industry OR have a relevant level 5 equivalent qualification/certificate or higher or have a bachelor degree. If none, training will be provided.

Priority will be given to local NZ residence/citizens.

Tasks Include:

·      Provide overall direction and management of the business

·      Oversee the services and goods provided in two stores and ensure the business remains highly competitive if necessary

·      Setting sales target and determining product range, price, stock levels and standard operating procedures

·      Maintain excellent quality of service by ensuring the maintenance of customer service, store presentation and service and goods quality

·      Control the business running cost and avoid going over budget

·      Recruit, select, hire and train the staff you want to work with and motivate them

·      Actively promoting the store and maintain positive staff morale

·      Manage staff roster, control wage costs and review staff performance ensure appropriate staff trainings are up to date

·      Promote and market services to potential customers

·      Assist with GST, PAYE related paperwork for accounting purpose and managing other daily business concerned financial transactions;

·      Be responsible for the financial performance of the store;

·      Observe health and other laws and regulations, including ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
