Gardener

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain gardens, lawns, hedges, and outdoor areas by trimming, weeding, pruning, and mowing

Plant and care for flowers, shrubs, trees, and seasonal plants

Identify and control pests, weeds, and plant diseases using safe methods

Apply fertilisers and mulch to encourage healthy plant growth

Operate and maintain gardening tools and machinery

Assist in landscaping projects including new garden installations and minor hardscaping

Follow health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

One year of experience in gardening, property maintenance, or handyman work

Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks

Sound knowledge of plants, garden maintenance, and lawn care are appreciated

Good practical skills and attention to detail

Basic knowledge of tools and equipment

Flexibility to work on weekends

Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

A valid driver’s licence is preferred

The ideal candidate will be reliable, physically fit, and have a passion for outdoor work.

It is a full-time role with minimum 30 hours per week and hourly rate between $25 - $32.
