As the Shift Electrician you will be responsible for:
- Electrical support to the plant in the areas of preventative maintenance, installations and improvements
- Attending breakdowns and driving automation improvements
- PLC programming and troubleshooting – Allen-Bradley systems
- Diagnosing faults and providing technical solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Undertaking all duties in line with the company's H&S program
- Complying with the company's Food Safety program
- Providing quality document recording and accuracy
- Managing electrical spares and critical spares inventory
- Actively participating in PM's, condition monitoring, cleaning and housekeeping
For this role you will need:
- An Electrical Engineering Trade qualification
- A current EWRB licence
- Proven PLC programming experience – Allen-Bradley preferred
- A high level of knowledge and technical expertise in FMCG technologies and systems (24/7 environment), with demonstrated problem-solving ability
- Previous experience in preventative maintenance, installations, and breakdowns within industrial or heavy commercial environments
- Experience in automation projects and continuous improvement
- A solid understanding of Health and Safety and Food Safety programs
- A highly competitive salary
