We have a vacant role of Full-time Retail Assistant in Pukekohe, Auckland. You will be required to work between 30 hours – 40 hours from 9 am to 5 pm (Monday - Friday) however we also work sometime on Saturday as well (depending on workload); We need someone who is willing to commit to our company and is prepared to take the responsibility and run with it.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service and build trust and loyalty with our wonderful customers
  • Understanding customer requirements and recommending product range, price, delivery, warranties and product use and care as per the instructions of the manager and /or technician
  • Assisting the manager in stock take
  • Stacking and displaying goods for sale, and preparing the product for delivery
  • Work with a passionate team to reach sales targets
  • Processing payments and keeping up to date with daily admin tasks, including general cleanliness and presentation of the store
  • Maintaining high-store performance
  • Ensuring everyone’s safety by complying with Company’s Health and safety obligations.

 

Key requirements

  • Relevant work experience would be preferable
  • A natural ability to build rapport with any customer and assist them during their visit
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and people management skills
  • A proactive approach, motivation to achieve and improve continuously
  • Clean criminal record and Zero tolerance for drugs at the workplace.

 

Salary can be negotiated as per your proven experience level, it will range from $24 -$26 per hour.
