Sky Technician – Installation & Maintenance

About Us

Master Tech Solutions is a leading provider of security and technology installation services across New Zealand. We specialize in Sky TV installations, Starlink setups, audio/video systems, security solutions, and more. We are looking for a skilled Sky Technician to join our team and handle installations, testing, and maintenance of electronic equipment at customer sites.

Job Responsibilities:

✅ Install Sky decoders and Sky TC systems.
✅ Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Sky and Starlink equipment.
✅ Replace faulty parts and ensure optimal system performance.
✅ Install and set up Starlink satellite systems.
✅ Perform audio/video installations, including TV wall mounting.
✅ Conduct tests, repairs, and maintenance of electronic systems.
✅ Provide cost estimates for materials, installations, repairs, and replacements.
✅ Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
✅ Maintain company-provided van and tools, including cleanliness, WOF, Rego updates, tyre checks, and quarterly tool inspections.
✅ Be responsible for any missing or damaged tools. In case of an accident where the employee is at fault, they will be liable for the insurance access fee.

Skills & Requirements needed:

Prior relevant work experience 2-3 years OR qualification. Training will be provided to right candidate.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Auckland, Whangarei, Waikato & Bay of Plenty & Northland when/if required.
Knowledge of health & safety protocols for installation work is a plus
Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
Good communication and customer service skills.
