Supercut Engineering Limited based in Auckland is a well-equipped steel structural facility offering a range of structural engineering services all around New Zealand. We are looking for three Forklift Drivers to join our growing logistics team.
You will be expected to work at the company’s workshops and may also be directed to work at other sites within the Auckland region. This job requires you to work a minimum of 30 hours per week from Monday to Friday as normal hours of work, and you may also be required to work on Saturday as well. Please note this is a permanent full-time role and the hourly pay rate would be $26 - $30.00 based on the candidates' experience and skills.
Job Description for This Position

Operate Telehandler Forklifts and COMBILIFTs to handle, load, unload, and transport structural steel materials within our workshop, yard and construction sites

Safely stack and move steel beams up to 18 metres in length, ensuring load stability and proper placement

Load steel materials from the stockyard onto 12-wheel trucks for transportation to the workshop

Unload deliveries from suppliers using forklifts upon arrival at our facility

Transfer painted steel materials from the paint shop back to the yard for storage or dispatch

Operate forklifts on construction sites to transport steel beams and assist installation crews with materials handling during on-site installation

Conduct pre-start checks and carry out routine maintenance and safety inspections on forklifts and other material handling equipment

Maintain accurate records of goods movement and ensure all cargo is handled safely and efficiently

Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures at all times

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient daily operations

Perform general transport duties as required, including assisting with the delivery and dispatch of goods and equipment

Carry out any other reasonable tasks assigned by management to support logistics, workshop, and yard operations
Key Requirements

A valid New Zealand driving licence with Forklift (F) Endorsement

Minimum of 3 years’ driving experience

Physically fit and comfortable handling manual tasks.

Must be punctual and reliable with a positive can-do attitude for this role.

Be physically fit as the job involves heavy lifting.

A positive and willing attitude to learn and progress.

Able to work with deadlines and schedules, and available to work weekends if required.
