We are seeking highly motivated Auto Mechanics to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for the below duties. Starting pay offered from $34-$38 hourly will be fixed according to the skills and experience for 30-45 hours a week. However, this will be reviewed periodically. Any overtime will be paid as per above payrate.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose Vehicle Faults: Identify and analyze issues in vehicles to determine the root cause of problems.
Engine and System Overhaul: Dismantle, rebuild, repair, or replace engines, parts, and systems to restore optimal functionality.
Routine Maintenance: Perform routine servicing of vehicles, including changing lubricants (oil), coolants (radiator coolant), and filters.
Vehicle Upgrades: Upgrade and modify vehicles to enhance performance and meet customer specifications.
Bodywork and Frame Alignment: Align and reshape damaged panels and frames to restore the vehicle’s structural integrity.
Parts Removal and Replacement: Remove and replace parts to facilitate repairs or prepare vehicles for painting.
Structural Repairs: Conduct structural repairs using a chassis machine and 3D measuring equipment to ensure precise alignment.
Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers regarding vehicle repairs, providing cost estimates and detailed explanations of required services.
Customer Guidance: Offer guidance and assistance to customers throughout the service process, ensuring their understanding and satisfaction.
At least two years of experience or Level 4 qualification in the auto area is required. An eye for detail a hard-working attitude, and being physically fit. Be able to work on weekends. The successful candidate must not have any criminal convictions and can pass drug tests.
