About the role

Nishma Group Limited is seeking two dedicated and experienced Truck Drivers to join our team in Henderson, Auckland. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of goods across the region. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

Hourly Rate: $32

Minimum Weekly hours: 30

Location: Auckland

What you'll be doing

  • Safely operating a commercial truck to transport a variety of goods and materials
  • Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safe delivery of cargo
  • Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain the truck in optimal condition
  • Providing excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and addressing any concerns
  • Maintaining detailed logs of driving activities and delivery records
  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of cargo as needed
  • Collaborating with the transportation team to optimize delivery routes and schedules

What we're looking for

  • A valid Class 4 driver's license with a clean driving record
  • At least 2 years of experience
  • Familiarity with the local road network and ability to navigate efficiently
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to safety and attention to detail
  • Availble for weekends and night/day shifts.
