Tara Thai Massage is a local Thai Massage business in Kumeu, Auckland. We are looking for experienced Thai Massage Therapists to join our team.

Requirements 

  • At least 2 years of experience working in an authentic Thai Massage business, OR
  • A related qualification (at NZ Register Diploma level or higher, overseas qualifications must be comparable to the standard of the New Zealand qualification), OR
  • The National Skill Standard Testing Level 1 (Traditional Thai Massage) from Thailand

Job Descriptions

  • Greet customers courteously and professionally in accordance with Tara Thai Massage standards.

  • Prepare treatment rooms to ensure a clean, welcoming, and hygienic environment for all services rendered.

  • Provide professional Thai therapeutic massage services as offered by Tara Thai Massage, including:

            -  Pain relief for aching muscles

            -  Improved circulation

            -  Stress relief

            -  Mental and physical relaxation

  • Utilise a wide range of massage techniques—including traditional Thai methods—to enhance sports performance, prevent injury, and promote healing.

  • Massage the soft tissues of the body, such as muscles, tendons, and ligaments, to assist recovery and overall well-being.

  • Administer treatments to promote relaxation, improve blood flow, and relieve muscular tension.

  • Assess and treat specific soft tissue dysfunctions, providing tailored rehabilitation advice to support client recovery.

  • Conduct thorough assessments of each client’s physical condition and case history to determine the most effective massage strategy.

  • Advise clients on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques to support ongoing wellness and injury prevention.

  • Ensure daily general cleaning and sanitation of premises to uphold high hygiene standards.

  • Maintain appropriate attire while on business premises and ensure a professional appearance at all times.

  • Comply with all immigration requirements and company policies during employment with Tara Thai Massage.

Other detail 

  • This is a full-time and permanent position

  • Wage payment is between $27 and $30 per hour, depending on your skills and experience, and you will be paid weekly.

  • Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law
  • You will be working at  340 Main Road, Kumeū 0810, Auckland 

  • You will work according to a roaster 5 - 6 days each week with a guarantee of 30 hours (a maximum of 48 hours)
