We are looking to recruit two Panel beaters for our car panel painting team in Christchurch.

Duties may include:

·      Panel fabrication and fibre glass repairs.

·      Paint preparation and interior refurbishment.

·      Strip, Repair and refit vehicles to a high standard

·      Perform all aspects of structural repairs and welding

·      Panel repairs, dent removal, rust repairs, and structural alignment

·      Surface prep for painting and cosmetic finishing

·      Working on fleet, private, and insurance repair jobs

·      Straightening damaged vehicles and parts using mechanical and hydraulic equipment

·      Filling depressions with plastic filler, and filing, grinding and sanding repaired surfaces

·      Cutting and joining replacement sections using welding equipment

·      Maintain meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high-quality work

·      Accident/collision and rust repairs.

·      Maintain accurate job and workshop records.

·      Comply with the health and safety provisions at all times

 

Skills and experience required for the role:

·      At least two years of relevant work experience

·      Ability to work at weekends

·      Physical fitness

·      Free from drug and criminal history. May be required to undergo a drug and criminal History background check.

·      Able to provide positive references

·      Team player

·      Motivated and reliable

·      Takes pride in their work

·      Attention to detail

  • Car license or overseas equivalent

Minimum 30 hours a week.
