P &A 2021 Limited is a marketing and sales company for wholesaling Grocery and other consumer products to retail Stores. Our company is a trusted name in New Zealand households, delivering wholesome, nutritious products that support healthy lifestyles.  Now we’re looking for a Sales Representative (Full Time Permanent Position for at least 35 Hours a week and pay rate would be $28-$30 Per Hour) to join our team .

The Sales Representative primary focus is overseeing the sales related activities for P&A Limited products within the allocated stores, to achieve the targeted growth in line with the company's business plan. Sales Representatives will be responsible for achieving profitable sales results by establishing and implementing sales plans and strategies, by interaction with customers to generate competitive proposals directly leading to the penetration and/or expansion of existing business.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Visit customers as per call cycle schedule and ensure optimum usage of your time;

Place re-orders with individual retailers as required to optimize stock levels and recommend new line opportunities;

Provide product knowledge and current offers, promotions, negotiations with stores; Merchandise stock to ensure product is presented in the best light to the consumer and ensuring under and over stocks are kept to a minimum;

Occasional building of promotional displays and performing store relays; Follow-up contact and correct paper work procedure with stores to ensure credits are kept to a minimum;

Report competitive new lines or launched activities;

Occasional assistance or running of in-store demonstrations to promote products;

Assist with trade displays (you will be initially assisted by other ground staff and then you may be on your own for small trade displays);

Maintain strong knowledge of products and competitors' products;

Other tasks as assigned by Sales Promotion Officer and management.

Support other sales and trade related duties upon request by management as and when necessary.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you have relevant skills, with knowledge and experience in wholesale Groceries and Consumer Products

·          Three Years’ Experience preferably within the food industry.

·         Strong organizational and time management abilities

·         Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and staff
