Higgins Taupō is seeking a Specialist Operator to join the team in the Asphalt Plant. 

You will be part of a team of 3 that manufacture up to 1700 tonnes of Asphalt per month and aiming to increase production.  

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • 5+ years prior experience in Asphalt Plant operation, including troubleshooting and basic mechanical maintenance
  •  Strong understanding of materials, tools and methods used in asphalt production
  • Ability to work a roster of days and nights (Night shift as required)
  • Class 1 licence or overseas equivalent - WTR and Class 2 sought after but we can support you to gain these 
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills required 
  • Strong track record of commitment to health and safety 

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40-70 hours per week. Competitive hourly rate on offer between $32-$37 ph.
