Payrate: $32 per hour
Minimum Hours of Work Per Week: 30
Maximum Hours of Work Per Week: 40

 

Key Requirements:
At least 2 years or more of relevant experience.
or
At least Level 4 or above relevant qualification.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and present a variety of takeaway meals, including seafood, burgers, fried foods, and daily specials.

  • Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations and food control plans.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation and cooking areas.

  • Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory control, and ensure freshness of ingredients.

  • Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Coordinate with front-of-house staff to manage customer orders and ensure timely service.

  • Follow standardised recipes and portion guidelines to ensure quality and consistency.

  • Clean workstations, cooking equipment, and kitchen tools after each shift.

  • Adhere to all workplace health and safety requirements and store policies.
