3-6 month contract on large marine refurbishment project.
About the role:  
This is an opportunity to work on a large, unique marine project as part of our client's well-organised Marine Fitting team. You will be working alongside other skilled tradesmen to undertake:
  • Repair, replacement and rebuild work on marine vessels
  • Both workshop based and onboard work is involved
This is a 3-6 month contract with an immediate start. With another intake planned towards the end of winter. The work hours are Monday-Friday between 7.00am & 4.00pm.

Skills + Experience:
For this role you will need:
  • A Trade Qualification in Mechanical or Marine Engineering
  • At least 3 years New Zealand industry work experience - ideally in Marine or related environment 
  • Good knowledge of fitting and working to best practice 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • The ability to work as part of a team, but also unsupervised
Pay + Benefits:
  • A competitive rate is offered for either PAYE or GST contractors
