- Both workshop based and onboard work is involved
Skills + Experience:
For this role you will need:
- A Trade Qualification in Mechanical or Marine Engineering
- At least 3 years New Zealand industry work experience - ideally in Marine or related environment
- Good knowledge of fitting and working to best practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work as part of a team, but also unsupervised
- A competitive rate is offered for either PAYE or GST contractors
- Some overtime may be available
- Supportive team environment
- Opportunity to work at NZ’s largest dry dock
