Skillford and co limited are seeking a full-time Class 2 Asphalt Labourer to join their team in Christchurch.
What you'll be doing
  • Experienced in using a roller and asphalt raking is a must!
  • Class 2 driver's license and above is required for this role.
  • Supporting the application and compaction of asphalt materials
  • Performing general labour tasks, such as site preparation, cleaning, and equipment maintenance
  • Following safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures
What we're looking for
  • Previous experience as an Asphalt labourer or in a similar construction role
  • WTR and class 2 and above driver licenses are ideal 
  • Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks
  • Ability to follow instructions and work within a team environment
  • Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
  • Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to delivering high-quality work
