Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC and electrical installation and servicing, particularly in the residential and light commercial sectors. Key Requirements:

·        Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in New Zealand in HVAC and electrical installation and servicing

OR

·        A Level 4 or higher qualification in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Electrical

OR

·        A current Electrical Trainee Licence (ETL)

AND

·        Valid New Zealand driver’s licence

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·        Strong communication and customer service skills

Key Responsibilities:

·        Install, maintain, and repair heat pump systems, including high-wall, floor-console, and ducted units

·         Perform ductwork installation for new systems, ensuring efficient airflow and minimal energy loss

·         Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance of HVAC systems

·         Troubleshoot system issues and provide effective solutions

·         Ensure compliance with New Zealand safety regulations and standards

·         Keep accurate service records and complete job documentation

·         Liaise with clients to explain system operations and maintenance tips

 

Preferred Skills:

·         Familiarity with Daikin, Mitsubishi, Fujitsu, or similar systems

·         Refrigerant handling and brazing skills

·         Knowledge of building codes and electrical safety standards in New Zealand

Key Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing operations in HVAC or electrical contracting, with a focus on social housing projects (e.g., Housing NZ or Kāinga Ora).

Level 4 or above qualification in electrical/HVAC engineering, business, or construction management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage HVAC/electrical service teams across allocated areas.

  • Act as the primary liaison with Housing New Zealand (Kāinga Ora) and other clients.

  • Ensure all projects meet contract specifications, safety, and compliance requirements.

  • Manage job scheduling, performance reporting, and issue resolution.

  • Supervise site technicians and administrative staff to ensure quality standards.

  • Coordinate inventory, supplies, and resource allocation for ongoing projects.

  • Drive improvements in efficiency, customer service, and job turnaround time.

  • Prepare reports, track budgets, and ensure work is delivered within KPIs.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Driver with a strong background in electrical and HVAC products. The ideal candidate will support our operations by transporting equipment and materials, assisting on-site with deliveries and basic product handling, and providing insight into electrical and HVAC systems when needed. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road and has technical experience in related trades.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Safely operate company vehicles to deliver electrical and HVAC products to various sites.

·         Load, unload, and verify the accuracy of delivered materials.

·         Provide basic support on-site regarding product handling and installation where applicable.

·         Maintain accurate delivery logs and comply with all transportation regulations.

·         Perform regular vehicle inspections and report any issues.

·         Support warehouse team during off-peak delivery times as needed.

·         Assist with customer queries related to electrical and HVAC products based on knowledge and experience.

 

Requirements:

·         Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

·         Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience or product knowledge in electrical and HVAC fields.

·         Possession of relevant electrical qualifications or trainee license (preferred).

·         Ability to lift and move heavy equipment/materials.

·         Strong communication and customer service skills.

·         Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Certification or apprenticeship in electrical or HVAC fields.

·         Knowledge of local electrical and HVAC codes and safety standards.

·         Familiarity with basic tools and equipment used in the trades.
