Position: Branch Manager
Location: Otahuhu, Auckland 1062
Days and Hours of Work: Tuesday to Saturday 9am – 5.30pm
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time (40 hours a week)

Your Mission
As our Branch Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind sales, team development, and exceptional customer experiences. You’ll lead day-to-day operations, manage financial and compliance responsibilities, and ensure that every customer leaves with confidence in our people and their purchase.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Executing the company’s vision, strategy, and performance goals
- Managing all branch operations — sales, finance, inventory, presentation, reconditioning
- Leading, mentoring and motivating the team to meet and exceed targets
- Delivering consistent, exceptional customer service and long-term client relationships
- Ensuring regulatory compliance (CGA, FTA, MVS Act, H&S)
- Driving up selling opportunities (Finance, Insurance, Warranties, etc.)
- Controlling operational costs and enhancing profitability
- Developing marketing campaigns and managing dealership presentation

Who We’re Looking For
- At least 3 years’ experience in branch management in used car retail or wholesale
- Strong understanding of NZ automotive retail laws and compliance
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Passion for helping customers and driving business growth
- Comfortable working weekends and public holidays as needed
- Familiar with NZ and Japanese automotive market and industry trends
- A track record in building positive international supplier relationships (mainly focused in Japan)
- Fluent in both, Japanese and English languages is a must
