We are currently looking for skilled and passionate Barbers to join our new barbershop in Whangārei, Northland. If you take pride in your craft and enjoy delivering sharp styles and great service, we want to hear from you!

About the Role:

Position: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Barbershop – Whangārei, Northland

Pay Rate: $27 – $33 per hour (based on experience)

You must be available to work on weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Welcome clients and consult with them on their desired style or grooming needs
  • Cut and trim hair using scissors, clippers, and razors
  • Provide beard and moustache grooming, including shaves with cut-throat razors
  • Deliver high-quality cuts for men and kids of all ages
  • Clean and sanitise tools and workstations between appointments
  • Manage client bookings (phone and walk-ins)
  • Take payments and provide friendly, professional customer service

What We’re Looking For: 

  • A relevant barbering qualification (Level 4) OR at least 2 years’ experience in a commercial barbering environment
  • Excellent cutting and grooming skills
  • A positive attitude and passion for men’s grooming
  • Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work well as part of a team
