Health and Safety Coordinator required.

Our company combines the critical services of power, pumps and water to make it easier for customers to access a wide spectrum of essential services taken care of by one company. We require a qualified Health and Safety Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

This is a full-time, permanent position, with annual salary of $60,000 to $70,000 depending on skills and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify risks and hazards, conduct assessments, and maintain H&S records.

  • Prepare and update Job Analysis and Safe Work Method Statements.

  • Liaise with clients' H&S teams for permits and site instructions.

  • Record and investigate incidents, manage insurance claims.

  • Coordinate staff inductions, training, and certification records.

  • Manage PPE, first aid kits, and vehicle safety compliance.

  • Oversee warehouse organisation, stocktakes, and supplier relationships.

  • Handle stock orders, inventory levels, and deliveries.

  • Ensure workplace inspections, hazardous substance management, and annual prequalifications are completed.

You’ll Need:

  • A tertiary degree
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of SimPRO, EROAD, and Safety Monitor is strongly referred
  • A NZQA H&S Rep Certificate is highly desirable.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment.
