Asoon Elevator Limited bases in Auckland, we offer services to elevator installation and elevator maintenance, due to the recent growth of business we need 10 experienced Fitter-Welders to help in elevator installation and maintenance process.

Skills, qualification and experience:

  • At least 2 years work experience

  • Familiar with elevator installation process of Hitachi, KONE, Schindler, Otis, good knowledge of elevator installation process.

  • Physically well to handle metal parts and elevator accessories.

  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize your work.

Job description:

1. Studying drawings and specification of elevator, checking and classify metal parts and elevator accessories to meet elevator installation process requirements at each stage;

2, According to the requirements of the installation manual, make samples and position the line transect; 

3. Positioning the pit buffer according to the drawings and specifications. 

4. Fit the main and auxiliary guide rail supports to the designated position according to the drawings and installation process;

6. Unpack and move elevator hall door header and door frame to the corresponding installation position, fit and position it properly according to the drawings and specifications.

7. Unbox the top, bottom and frame of the elevator car, classify them according to the installation process, move them to the corresponding position, fit and position properly according to the drawings and specifications;

8. Fit the Safety Gear and position it properly according to the drawings and specifications;

9. Unpack the elevator tractor and speed limiter and move them to the installation position, fit and position properly according to the drawings and specifications;

11. Unpack the heavy frame and move it to the designated position, fit and position properly according to the drawings and specifications;

12. Diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of elevator, repairing mechanical parts of elevator.

Location: Auckland

Term: Permanent full time position

Wage: $30 - $35 per hour

Hours of work: 30 hours or above per week

Shifted from Monday to Sunday
