About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Controller to guide our
clients through the vehicle finance and sales journey. It is a full-time permanent role with a minimum guaranteed 30 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities:
 Guiding and supporting new customers through finance consultation, documentation, loan queries and the buying process.
 Handling all incoming customer enquiries by live chat, phone, email, and company’s online social media sale channel .
 Creating and maintaining excellent relationships with customers.
 Gathering all required information for finance application from customers via company live chat, email, phone & online company social media channels. Making sure correct required data is collected utilising all possible means and reasonable queries
 Helps clients to fill out company’s internal and external finance company
applications.
 Submitting finance applications in all the relevant finance company portals from the information collected from clients via company different sale channels
 Utilising expertise to get client’s finance approvals in a timely & productive manner.
 Perform client’s finance loan affordability assessments and finance approval decisions as per applicable laws & regulations.
 Thoroughly signing successful clients sale & purchase agreements , insurance policies and relevant finance company approved finance contracts with clients as per finance company criteria
 Printing documents and submitting documents to finance companies for payouts

 Dealing with walk-in customers and converting them to a probable sale.
 Utilising best customer service & sale skills to convert probable leads (obtained via phone, online sale channels or walk in clients) to successful SALE
 Consistently achieve company’s monthly, quarterly & annual sale targets using best sale & customer service techniques
 Proactively solve client’s after sale vehicle or finance complains. Work closely with company workshop & stock team to resolve the issues as soon as possible.
 Maintaining the customers catalogue on a daily basis
 Making sure company’s online chat portals (Facebook and Instagram page) privacy is maintained at all times and never share with even family or friend outside authorised team members.
 Building and strengthening the relationship with vehicle finance companies, key stakeholders and customers
 Ensuring compliance with the lending criteria and standards requested by the finance companies.
 Create and contribute to new marketing and financial strategies to help with the business growth and the company’s brand image in the marketplace
 Creating, planning and coordinating marketing strategies to support the sales objectives. The strategies should be deployed through our social media and online channels such as the Company website, Facebook, Instagram and Trade me
 Supporting the Manager Director & operation Manager with interpreting market research to identify market opportunities and new consumer trends in the Automotive industry in New Zealand
 Implementing strategies to build and maintain customer relationships, the organisation’s image with the wider public, existing and new finance companies
 Preparing reports of the marketing strategies implemented, including the finance loans applied to analyse the impact in the market 

 Have a passion for motor & finance industry and keep up to date with the
vehicles trends and knowledge about vehicles
 Maintaining car yard in a presentable manner
 Moving cars from sale yard to company workshop and other company nominated repair centres like panel paint, compliance as and when required etc…
 Buying number plates from VTNZ or AA as directed and required by the management and such other work and duties as directed by an authorised person of the Employer.

Other Attributes Required:
 Must have two years of relevant work experience or a minimum level 5 qualification.
 Strong understanding of vehicle financing and lending criteria
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 High attention to detail with strong organisational and multitasking abilities
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team
