Job Summary

The Business Development Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing the company’s annual sales and marketing plan to drive growth in the education export market. This role requires a skilled marketing professional who can manage budgets, meet sales targets, build new relationships, and develop branding strategies to expand our presence in targeted markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales and Marketing Planning

  • Develop and implement the annual sales and marketing plan to meet company goals.
  • Prepare and manage the annual marketing budget and provide monthly management reports.

2. Sales Target Achievement

  • Set and achieve sales targets for the year, consistently working to exceed expectations.
  • Actively promote education and immigration services to attract and convert potential clients.

3. Channel Development and Management

  • Maintain and expand sales channels to ensure ongoing achievement of sales targets.
  • Source, secure, and establish new prospecting channels and business relationships.

4. Training and Support

  • Provide training and support to sales and marketing staff to ensure alignment with business goals and maximize team performance.

5. Product and Service Development

  • Drive the development and launch of new products and services to support growth and increase brand awareness.

6. Market Research and Analysis

  • Conduct regular market research, analyzing consumer preferences and trends, and share insights with management.
  • Generate detailed marketing planning reports with analysis and forecasts for decision-making.

7. Marketing and Advertising Strategy

  • Design and implement project-based marketing initiatives, including advertising, social
    networking, and sales channels.
  • Keep accurate records of successes and failures in marketing efforts to support KPI analysis.

8. Networking and Relationship Building

  • Engage in market visits, business networking, and maintain regular communication with targeted prospects, especially in China.
  • Build relationships with networks, marketing channels, agents, schools, universities, and other
    education groups.

9. Event Management and Branding Exposure

  • Organize workshops, events, and other activities to enhance company branding and increase client engagement.

10. Customer and Partner Communication

  • Maintain courteous and professional communication with customers and business partners through various channels (phone, email, letter, face-to-face).

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business and Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the education or service export industry.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and expanding market channels, ideally within the education or immigration sector.

  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills, with an ability to derive insights from market data.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for relationship-
    building and client engagement.
  • Creative approach to product and service development, with a keen understanding of branding and market positioning.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects within deadlines.
