We have a BUZZing opportunity for an experienced Baker to assist the kitchen production team, on a temporary basis. Due to a existing Baker needing to take some extended time away from the business, we are looking for an experience Baker to keep the kitchen BUZZing!

The Role
You'll be passionate, professional, and experienced in baking a wide range of high-quality savoury and sweet bakery products. Think Quiches, Pinwheel Scones, Frittatas and fresh breads.

Responsibilities include:
  • Following recipes and menu as per Head Chefs direction
  • Mixing and Baking a wide range of high-quality artisan bakery products, according to recipe
  • Ensure equipment always meets occupational health and safety and food safety
  • Managing inventory and cost control
Who are you? 
  • 4 years of proven experience as a baker with a passion for creating unique and exceptional artisan bread
  • Sound knowledge of food safety and safe work practices
  • Ability to commit for a 3 month assignment
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking, with high standards
  • Time management, problem-solving and a team player
Working week in Monday - Friday, 5am until finish ( around 1pm) with pay rate of $30.00 per hour + 8% holiday pay. This vacancy starts Mid June and runs for a minimum of 3 month. Working holidays visas (providing you meet the minimum  4 years as a qualified bake) are OK but sponsorship is not available.
