Hunterna provides floor finishing services of a high quality to house owners and developers. We are looking for at least 2-year experienced Floor Finishers to join our team for the development of our business.

  • measuring areas to be covered carefully, checking the floor plans and estimating materials required
  • removing old floor covering and preparing surfaces for covering
  • measuring, making sketches as a guideline, cutting and fixing underlay materials
  • laying coverings precisely to fit the unique specifications of the space
  • securing floor coverings in place with tacks, staples, tape or glue, adjusting as need to accomodate size and type of material being used
  • cutting according to the steps and applying stains to stair nosing to match the timber floors and hardwearing floors
  • adjusting installation method according to the environment and the traffic in the room
  • may install wall, ceiling, counter and bench coverings
  • take the team leader’s role to train and supervise the work of other floor finishers
  • direct team member to move furniture as needed, taking care not to damage it
  • communicating schedules in a timely and professional manner
  • making sure the work space is cleaned thoroughly before departing 
    The desired candidate should:
    Have at least 2 year related work experience 
    Be a good listener and follow the instructions from the team leader
    Good work ethic, neat, punctual, and organised
    Good communication skills
    Can work well and efficiently both unsupervised and within a team
    Good level of physical ability, able to do heavy lifting
