Web developer

We are seeking a skilled and creative Web Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality websites and web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, back-end developers, and business stakeholders to deliver user-friendly, responsive, and high-performance digital experiences.

·        Employment Type: Full time permanent

·        Salary Range: NZ$75,000-NZ$80,000 per annum

·        Work Hours: Minimum of 40 hours/week, up to 50 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy web-based applications and websites.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, or frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue).
• Integrate web applications with databases and other back-end services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing web solutions.
• Ensure websites meet accessibility, performance, SEO, and security standards.
• Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computing, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) and 3 years of experience as a Web Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), and responsive design.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
