About the Role

We’re seeking a senior-level Business Development Manager to drive growth across the food-grade and FMCG packaging sectors. This is a pivotal role focused on identifying new opportunities, developing long-term client relationships, and delivering innovative, sustainable, and technically sound packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across the Auckland region

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client partnerships

  • Understand and address technical packaging requirements with tailored solutions

  • Prepare and deliver persuasive proposals, tenders, and sales presentations

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery

  • Use Excel for accurate forecasting, data analysis, and reporting

  • Consistently meet and exceed KPIs and revenue targets

  • Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement efforts

What We’re Looking For

  • A proven track record in business development within the packaging industry (essential)

  • Strong knowledge of technical and regulatory aspects of food-grade packaging

  • Well-connected across relevant FMCG and manufacturing sectors in Auckland

  • Advanced Excel skills – comfortable with forecasting, analysis, and reporting

  • A consultative approach to sales with excellent negotiation and closing skills

  • A professional communicator and collaborative team player

  • Passionate about sustainability and innovation in packaging
