working environment. These positions are full-time (at least 30-40 hours per week) with an
hourly pay rate of $25-$25 depending on the work experience.

DUTIES
• Carrying out pre-start checks on trucks at the start of each shift.
• Moving trucks into position for loading and unloading.
• Transporting freight from the depot to customers on short, medium, and long-distance routes.
• Loading and unloading trucks using forklifts or ramps.
• Ensuring all loads are evenly distributed and secured as required.
• Adhering to all laws while driving on the road, and all health and safety requirements while in
the depot or at customer’s buildings.
• Maintaining a vehicle logbook and completing load-specific dockets for each pick-up and
delivery.
• When required, weighing loads and reporting as necessary.
• Keeping trucks in a clean and tidy condition (inside and out).
You will be someone who understands the importance of reliability, excellent customer service, and promoting Health and Safety. The drivers must be able to travel to other regions for the time period required to complete the job if/when required.
To ensure our standards remain high, the successful candidate you will have:
• Full and clean Class 4 or Class 5 Drivers License with a safe driving record OR 2-3 years of relevant work experience
• Eager to deliver exceptional service
• An interest in upskilling
• Forklift endorsement or certificate (ideal, but not compulsory)
- Able to start early and late finish depending on the rotating shift
We utilize electronic logbooks and our dispatch management systems are electronic, so ideally you will be competent in using phone apps and technology.
