Position: Baker (Minimum 30 hours per week)
Pay Rate: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour (based on experience)

At Rise Artisan Bakery, we are dedicated to crafting premium-quality breads, pastries, and baked goods using traditional methods and the finest ingredients. We’re currently seeking for Bakers to join our talented team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bake a wide range of artisan breads and pastries to a high standard

  • Accurately follow recipes, measure ingredients, manage dough preparation and proofing

  • Operating baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, proofers, dough sheeters, and slicers.

  • Monitoring baking times and temparatures to ensure products are baked to perfection.
  • Maintaining quality control by checking the texture, appearance, and taste of finished goods.
  • Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are followed in the preparation and storage of ingredients and finished products.
  • Following daily production schedules to meet the demands of customers or business operations.

  • Contribute to new product development and daily production planning

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience working in a bakery - this may include working as a baker, bakery assistant, doughmaker or similar role. 

  • A relevant qualification in bakery or cookery may substitute the work experience requirement 

  • Solid understanding of artisan baking techniques and processes

  • Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends

  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

  • A team player with a passion for baking
