This will include working closely with Naval personnel and third party Contractors to:
- Review and audit JSA's to ensure sufficient controls are in place for ongoing and planned work.
- Witness and verify isolations.
- Participate in and co-ordinate emergency drills.
- Ensure all authorized work has completed paperwork and testing before commencing.
- Monitor ongoing work for any unforeseen risks or hazards.
Skills + Experience:
For this role you will need:
- A Trade Qualification in Marine or Mechanical Engineering
- At least 3 years New Zealand industry work experience - in a marine or major hazards facility environment
- To be process driven
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to work and move at pace in confined spaces
- A clean criminal record
- A competitive rate is offered for either PAYE or GST contractors
- Job specific training + PPE (excluding safety boots) will be provided
