NZC is hiring 20 Painter/ Plasterer across multiple locations. These are permanent, full-time positions with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours of work per week.

The successful candidates must have at least 3 years in either residential or commercial settings. The role may occasionally require travel out of town; travel costs will be covered by the employer.

Applicants must have at least 2 contactable references, a clean criminal record, and a valid driver’s licence.

Job Description Summary:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting or plastering (e.g., cleaning, sanding, patching)
  • Apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
  • Mix and apply plaster to walls and ceilings, ensuring smooth or decorative finishes as required
  • Repair and restore damaged walls, ceilings, or surfaces
  • Ensure all work is completed to high-quality standards and in a timely manner
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
  • Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE on all job sites
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors
