We are currently looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our growing team and contribute to the strategic growth of our brand and product offerings.
Location: Auckland, New Zealand
Hours per week: Minimum 30 hours
Employment type: Full-time, permanent
Hourly rate: $32 to $36 depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to support company growth
- Manage and execute digital marketing initiatives across online platforms such as TradeMe, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Ads, the company website, TikTok, and short- form video platforms, ensuring campaigns are optimized for lead generation and conversion
- Create and manage content for digital channels, including ad creatives, short videos, and promotional posts tailored to platform-specific audiences
- Plan and manage advertising campaigns to support the company’s sales goals
- Advise on advertising strategies to effectively target key customer segments and increase brand awareness in New Zealand’s tool and construction supply market
- Conduct market research to explore new business opportunities for existing and future products
- Provide advice on all areas of marketing, including product range, pricing strategies, advertising content, sales promotions, and the best channels to reach company customers
- Manage the promotion of company products via company website, social media, and other platforms, ensuring content is delivered on time and within budget
- Analyse customer behaviour and purchasing data to understand consumer preferences
- Monitor and anticipate industry and consumer trends to guide marketing decisions and product promotions
- Research customer demand and market potential for new product lines and product selection
Requirements:
- A bachelor degree in a relevant field or at least five years of relevant marketing work experience is required
- Solid understanding of marketing strategy, branding, campaign planning, and market positioning.
- Ability to analyse consumer data and market trends to guide marketing decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
