Oceania Harmony is a company that provides exclusive travel experiences, specializing in luxury yacht charters for both private and corporate events. We are seeking a Tour Specialist to join our team. The role involves providing exceptional customer service and delivering personalized travel experiences for clients on luxury yacht charters.

Job description:

  • Lead guests on yacht charters, offering insightful commentary about the areas you are sailing through, local landmarks, and the cultural heritage of New Zealand.
  • Create customized yacht charter itineraries, manage all aspects of bookings for yachts, and ensure the entire experience exceeds the expectations of clients.
  • Assist clients in planning their activities during the yacht charter, providing recommendations on activities or destinations.
  • Provide helpful travel advice, including tips on local customs, safety precautions, and the best time for various onboard activities.
  • Promote Oceania Harmony's yacht charter services, engage with potential clients to generate interest, and assist in creating marketing materials that attract new clientele.

 

Job location: 

You will be based in Auckland where the company operates, particularly focusing on Viaduct Harbour Marina and other locations associated with our yacht charter tours.

 

Employment type:

Permanent Full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week, varying based on seasonal demand.

 

Salary: NZ$28 - NZ$34 per hour, depending on experience and eligibility.

 

Requirements:

  • Language: Fluent in both English and Mandarin
  • Qualifications: a minimum of a Level 4 qualification (Tourism/Hospitality/Business/Management/Marketing or relevant)
  • Background: no drug or criminal record
  • Skills: strong communication abilities, a caring and responsible attitude, punctuality, and a professional approach to customer service are essential
