We're looking for a Metal Fabricator Welder who is qualified to mark off and fabricate structural steel and other metal stock to make or repair metal products. 

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Relevant trade qualification or minimum of 2 years of fitter/welding experience 

In this role, you will be required to do the following: 

1.Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical specifications: Understanding design 
requirements and project details.  

2.Measuring, marking, and cutting metal: Accurately preparing metal pieces for fabrication.  

3.Shaping and bending metal: Using tools and techniques to form metal into desired shapes.  

4.Welding and joining metal: Employing various welding techniques to create strong and 
durable connections.  

5.Assembling and fitting metal components: Joining and assembling fabricated parts to create finished products.  

6.Repairing metal structures: Fixing damaged or worn metal components and structures.  

7.Quality control: Ensuring the quality and accuracy of their work, including dimensions and 
finishes.  

8.Utilizing tools and equipment: Operating machinery like welding machines, cutting tools, 
and shaping tools.

Hours of work: 30 hours per week; permanent full time 
Days of work: 5 days per week
